| Ahh, bathtub. This is a 100 year old tub that I found at the Stone Mill Antique Center, downstairs from where I have my tattoo studio in Little Falls. The pot next to it is the bottom half of a 1950 "Handyhot" washing machine. It holds five gallons. I placed the "Handyhot" on top of a propane-fired burner which I obtained for $35.00 at Walmart. This I connect to a 20 lb. propane tank, and very carefully use indoors, as contraindicated by the directions. I also have a Carbon Monoxide Detector in the house, just to let you concerned individuals know. I'm not suggesting that everyone do things this way, but for the time being, it's working for me, and is costing very little. |
