THE OUTER MEANING:
Let’s start with the definition of “What’s a Chick?”
To start with, the word “chick” could appear to some as a derogatory word for a young woman. The word is derogatory only if you think that as a young woman, there is something wrong with having an appearance which is pleasing to the eye, and a youthful exhuberance which casts inhibition to the wind. Furthermore, what makes for a visually pleasing appearance is wholly open to conjecture. What is not a pleasure to gaze upon for one, may indeed be a glittering fascination which can hold the gaze of someone else, for hours at a time.
So, the external, outer meaning of the word “Chick”, is “an attractive young woman.”
“Dig” – as in, “Can you dig it, baby?” (the Outer, Inner, and Secret meanings of the word “baby” must be discussed at a later time.) “ to Dig” is a verb meaning “to appreciate” or simply “to like, to enjoy”. It is hipster speech which entered the lexicon probably in the 1920’s.
“Tattoos” if you don’t know what THAT is, then, I can’t help you, man.
And the theory is: “I’m a chick. I dig tattoos. Therefore, ALL chicks dig tattoos.”
“I’m a chick. I have a ____ and ___. All chicks have a ____ and ___. I dig tattoos. Therefore, ALL chicks obviously dig tattoos.” *

Hows that for some “if – then =” logic? It’s the same kind of logic that floated me through high school algebra with my proud D- average. D- is still a passing grade!

THE INNER MEANING:
A Chick- is, in theory, a young and attractive female.
“Young”, when applied against the age of the planet, applies to all of us. Feeling a like you can’t possibly be a chick at the age of 75? Think again. How old is the Earth? 175 billion years (I don’t know, that’s just a guess)? Now how old are you? You’re a baby. You’re embryonic.
“Woman or Female” – ahh, here we are invoking Gender! Gender and physical biological sexal attributes are NOT one and the same! Gender is what you FEEL you are, baby! Ask a bull dyke if “she” feels like a chick. Ask a fairy who refers to “herself” as “she”, even while sporting a full beard, minds if you call her a chick.
Dig – same as the outer meaning.
Tattoos – same as the outer meaning.

THE SECRET MEANING:
To get yourself hipped to the secret meaning of “Chicks Dig Tattoos”, at one time required a ritual initiation into the daily practice of “Digging Tattoos”, but, no longer. A new day has dawned, and the once closed doors of the secret realm have been thrown open. This is for the benefit of the planet, which is going through an unusually dangerous time right now. We need all the help we can get, and to keep the myseteries a secret no longer serves the intended purpose of keeping their strengths intact. This is a planetary emergency. We need to know, even at the expense of watering down the secret teachings by giving them to the masses who may not yet be ready for them. Too bad, the time is now. Here it is, the Secret Meaning of “Chicks Dig Tattoos”:

Chick – a baby bird. The baby bird is you, the potential phoenix, the potential eagle. You have been gifted with all that is needed to be able to leap into the sky and fly, carried by the invisible, the wind, that which has strength and can be felt, but not seen. The shafts of tiny feathers are there, just underneath the skin of the tiny wings. These wings will grow, and these feathers will erupt and will become strong, able to carry you, now a tiny bird, to great heights, to as yet inconceived of realms. When this little chick, which is you, was still in it’s shell, it realized that there was something else out there, some other potential to be realized, another dimension, though it knew not what. And you began to peck at the inside of your shell untill it began to crack. You pecked and you pecked, as your cramped situation inside the shell was becoming intolerably tight. Finally, one day your shell broke open, and you breathed in your first air. You wriggled your way out of this broken shell, into a new world,a new space, which would eventually have you soaring free. This is a chick. This chick is you.
Dig- appreciate, like, enjoy, study, make.
Tattoos – indellible marks made in the skin for the express purpose of personal empowerment. Indellible marks made in living human skin for the purpose of stregthening one’s resolve, making a commitment, crystalizing intent.
